Robert introducing the President's daughter
to the children at Rancho Ebenezer
We've had a lot going on these first few months in 2012 but things are great.  Robert's keeping busy at work as he works with the leadership to think through new ideas for the ministry.  The ministry has been able to branch out in some new ways over the past couple of years and it's been a blessing to be able to watch.  Discipleship is now more available to the pastors of churches that the medical teams work with.  The Bridge House is set up more so the youth can step into more and more independence.  We also have Honduran leadership guiding the medical teams weekly as they serve local communities.

Jennifer teaching chocolate-making
to WGO missionaries
Jennifer is in leadership at our church's ladies Bible study and is enjoying that.  She's also been making candles and chocolate-covered coffee beans for WGO to sell to the medical teams.  She's  had several opportunities to teach chocolate-making and other crafts to missionary friends and it's been fun sharing those crafts with them.    She's also been able to get to know some of the Mission House missionaries better as we are living much closer to them now.

We've recently had a few guests come stay with us from Arkansas.  Jennifer's mom spent over a week with us in our new home, meeting our church and missionary friends, and getting to experience our everyday life as we know it. We also had Jennifer's college roommate and her boys come visit us for a week.  Both experiences were a blessing for us. It's always a huge treat to have friends and family come visit us, allowing us time to catch up on things, as well as for us to get to show them around and give them a glimpse of our lives in Honduras.

Rodolfo and classmates trying out a science experiement
Rodolfo's finishing the 7th grade and loves the fact that our new home is so close to several of his good friends.  That's been a huge blessing for him to get to hang out with several really neat young missionary friends and it's been fun for us to get to know their parents better.  Positive friendships for young teens are so important for them and are so encouraging to us as parents.
